We will meet to discuss “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason.”īridget Jones, Jane Austen, and Women's Literatureīoth BJD and BJ:EOR are sort-of spinoffs, plot-wise, of Pride and Prejudice and Persuasion, respectively.
